Finjo provides AI-powered lead generation, recruitment intelligence, candidate analysis, resume screening, and related services for recruitment agencies and staffing firms worldwide ("Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, use, store, share, and protect information provided to us through our platform. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information Provided by Agency Customers

Recruitment agencies may upload:

  • Candidate resumes and CVs
  • Candidate profiles and contact information
  • Employment histories, educational information, skills and qualifications
  • Interview notes and placement records
  • Any other recruitment-related information

B. Agency Account Information

  • Agency name, user names, email addresses, phone numbers
  • Billing information and account credentials

C. Platform Usage Information

  • IP addresses, device and browser information
  • Usage logs, search history, feature usage metrics
  • Performance and diagnostic information

3. How Finjo Uses Uploaded Resumes and Candidate Data

Agency customers expressly grant Finjo a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable right to:

  • Analyze uploaded resumes and candidate data
  • Extract skills, qualifications, industries, locations, and experience data
  • Train, improve, develop, and enhance Finjo's algorithms, machine learning systems, AI models, databases, matching systems, and lead-generation capabilities
  • Generate recruitment intelligence and hiring insights
  • Identify prospective hiring companies
  • Create aggregated, anonymized, statistical, benchmarking, and market intelligence datasets
  • Improve platform performance and accuracy
  • Conduct research and development activities

Finjo may use uploaded resumes and candidate data in any manner reasonably necessary to operate, improve, develop, market, support, secure, and enhance its Services, provided that Finjo complies with applicable laws.

Agency customers represent and warrant that they have all necessary rights, permissions, notices, and legal bases required to provide such data to Finjo.

4. Lead Generation Activities

Finjo analyzes candidate information and other data sources to identify potential hiring organizations. Lead recommendations generated by Finjo:

  • Are predictive in nature and may be based on AI-generated analysis
  • May contain inaccuracies
  • Do not constitute guarantees of hiring activity or agency engagement opportunities
  • Do not constitute guarantees of client acquisition

Finjo does not guarantee response rates, meetings, client conversions, placements, revenue generation, or business opportunities.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, security vendors, payment processors
  • Legal and regulatory authorities
  • Affiliates and successors in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales

We may also share anonymized and aggregated information for business, research, analytics, and commercial purposes.

6. International Data Transfers

Because Finjo serves global recruitment agencies, information may be processed, transferred, or stored in countries other than the country where the information originated. Users consent to such transfers and processing.

7. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

Finjo may retain uploaded resumes, candidate data, agency data, generated insights, and derived datasets for as long as necessary to provide Services, comply with legal obligations, for legitimate business purposes, to improve AI and machine learning systems, and for research and analytics purposes.

9. Agency Responsibilities

Each agency is solely responsible for:

  • Obtaining required candidate consents and providing legally compliant notices
  • Complying with GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, and other applicable privacy laws
  • Ensuring lawful processing of candidate information

Finjo is not responsible for an agency's failure to obtain required permissions.

10. Third-Party Data Sources

Finjo may combine uploaded information with publicly available, licensed, commercial, or third-party data sources to improve lead generation and matching capabilities.

11. Limitation of Privacy Obligations

Finjo acts primarily as a technology platform and data processor. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finjo shall not be liable for agency misuse of data, candidate complaints arising from agency actions, data supplied unlawfully by agencies, or inaccurate candidate information uploaded by agencies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
